Nick Brodeur

I'm an amateur programmer, entrepreneur, internet enthusiast, reader, and aspiring writer.

I believe in giving people more sovereignty, and think developing better internet infrastructure and privacy tech is the surest way to do that. There's probably a long way to go, but until then, I like to spend my time working on and alongside open source and decentralized projects like Ethereum and Farcaster.

Check out my projects if you'd like to see what I've been working on lately. Also, if you find anything interesting, please feel free reach out.

Projects

NameStone SDK

Sep. '24

Type-safe client for the namestone.xyz API.

I wrote the V1 while building wannabet names and figured it could be helpful to others as well, so I published it to npm and shared with the namestone team.

Jelly Beans

Sep. '24 - Current

An onchain prediction game.

I collaborated with my brother to put this project together. I developed the smart contracts and website, he made the assets, and we collaborated on product decisions, marketing, and everything else.

fightIQ

Aug. '24 - Current

Platform for pro MMA data, analytics, and tools.

I put this together in my free time as there aren't many good websites for this kind of data. I revisit it every so often, and am considering which direction to take it from here. This project is closed source for now.

WannaBet Names

Aug. '24

Claim free 'wannabet.eth' ENS subnames.

I developed this website to integrate with wannabet, while also being completely resolvable *most* everywhere else (some sites don't recognize the resolver). Names are centralized, but extremely easy to claim and completely free. Read more about how off-chain ENS names work at namestone.xyz.

I developed the smart contracts and website, and my brother and I worked together on product decisions and marketing.

Web app for discovering underrepresented Optimism DAO delegates.

I developed the website and my brother and I worked together on the promotion.
